We wanted to take a moment to give you an honest update — things have taken a bit longer than expected.
As much as we wish we could be working on LocalScene full-time, many of us are currently balancing demanding travel-heavy jobs, clocking 60+ hours a week. That means progress has been slower than we’d hoped, and yes… we missed our original launch date — by quite a bit!
But here’s the good news: we’re back on track and fully focused on bringing our vision to life. We’re now aiming to launch by August 18, 2025, and we’re committed to making it happen.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your patience and support. We believe wholeheartedly in what we’re building — a go-to hub where you’ll want to check in at least a few times a month (hopefully more!) to discover the best local bands and plan your next unforgettable night out.

We were contacted the other day from a couple venues. One in Cleveland and one in Pittsburg, inquiring about what the site actually is. Needless to say, they are skeptical because why would any venue list on here. We told them, unless they know about your club or venue, they'll never find it if they're new to the city. This site is being built to enforce geofencing so that no matter where you are, you'll be able to find someplace nearby. You'll even be able to search and set limits to what you want to see as well as how far you're willing to travel.
They seemed to be onboard, and a little excited. And because of this, these 2 venues are going to be our beta testers! We'll be able to get exactly what is needed to make this a successful venture!
